We only collect data necessary to provide reliable rides, safe carpooling, and hot food deliveries.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Rodx platform, we collect the following categories of data:

• Account Credentials: Mobile phone number (authenticated via one-time SMS OTP), full name, and email address.
• Precise Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates while booking, taking trips, or awaiting delivery, used to match you with nearby captains.
• Transaction Records: Invoices, payment confirmation tokens, trip distances, and statutory 5% GST tax line items.
• Partner Onboarding KYC: Driving licenses and vehicle registration for captains; FSSAI food business licenses for restaurants.

3. Mutual Number Masking

To protect passenger and captain privacy during communications, Rodx routes all voice calls and messages through a cloud telecommunication bridge with mutual virtual number masking.

Neither the passenger nor the driver sees the other party's true personal telephone number at any point before, during, or after the trip.

4. Security Standards & Data Storage

All data transmitted between the Rodx mobile apps and our backend infrastructure is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 protocols. Stored customer data is protected using AES-256 at-rest encryption in secure data centers located within India.

5. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you hold the legal right to access your personal data, request corrections, obtain an export, or request account erasure.
